The Indian cricket team is going to clash against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy on 9 February. The first match of this series will be played at the VCA Stadium in Nagpur. For this series, many new players were selected by the selectors in the team. But there was one player who was ignored once again. Now, this player has broken the silence for the first time on not being selected.

This young player gave a big statement
Mumbai batsman Sarfaraz Khan, who was ignored for the upcoming four-match Test series against Australia, recalled how he changed people’s perception that he was a white-ball player and not a Test player. Sarfaraz also recalled how he waited for his opportunity and then responded by scoring a triple century when he got the chance to bat for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy.
Was waiting to play Ranji Trophy
Sarfaraz Khan said, ‘I was waiting for an opportunity where I can get 4 to 5 matches to play continuously in Ranji Trophy, so I will show them who I am. When that day came, I made a comeback for Mumbai, and my maiden hundred turned into a straight triple hundred for Mumbai. After that, I realized that things are not as difficult as people make them out to be. I also had a dream since childhood to play in Mumbai.
AB de Villiers also praised
Sarfaraz Khan also mentioned AB de Villiers while praising him. Sarfaraz Khan said, rarely have I seen de Villiers practicing. But once I asked him, ‘Why don’t you practice more’? So, he said ‘When I was your age, I used to practice a lot, and I was not as talented as you are now, so just keep playing.’
